I would like to see more stats updated weekly on this site. Facts speak louder than all the smoke (we/I) blow on here supporting our teams. It would be nice to recognize players for the athletic and academic achiements as well on this site.
That's my 10 cents worth.

For this to happen, Coaches would have to provide the stats.....And most coaches will not simply because they do not want to give stats out to anybody they do not have to......Coaches just seem to not want to give out any more info than necessary about their team.....

Usually on Fridays the Newsleader posts stats on the basics, QB's, Receivers, Rushers, Sacks, Tackles, Kickers and Punters. It isn't going to hurt a team to post facts, they are what they are. If the coaches don't post them, it can usually be seen in the box scores in the newspapers. Not sure why it is such a secret? It's like keeping up with your favorite NFL team......so to speak.

Where do you think the News-Leader gets all the stats They post ??? From the Coaches....and you will notice that their stats are not always the most complete or accurate...and some teams/players are left out because the coaches do not release their stats....Some are just superstitious that way....
i will see what can be done, and go from there
